During reading, you will likely encounter other events or Legions that pique your interest, and you can go on to read about them. So, after Fulgrim, just think about which Legion or faction interests you the most and follow their arc for a while. When you've done this, you've covered the first two major events of the Heresy that basically every other novel will relate to: the corruption of the first Traitor Legions, culminating in the battle of Issvan III, and the Dropsite Massacre of Isstvan V.Īfter Fulgrim, the plot branches out in several directions, and following the publications by release date will likely result in you burning yourself out on plots that don't interest you or running in novels that you don't like. Read the first five in the order that they were released in: Horus Rising, False Gods, Galaxy In Flames, Flight Of The Eisenstein, Fulgrim. /u/Ghoul_Stars’ Video Journey Through 40k./u/Jackeyblob's Warhammer 40K Lore Documents AIO./u/JIDF-Shill's Horus Heresy comprehensive reading order. Please review the short conversation blacklist on our wiki before commenting or posting.
